Hi, I’m Sanjana Kripalani.

I’m a User Experience Researcher and Designer with a Master of Design in Human-Computer Interaction from the Institute of Design at Illinois Tech, Chicago.

I enjoy tackling complicated and unstructured problems and making sense of them with the help of user research. My strengths lie in ideating within time-boxed, fast-paced environments and understanding humans using an empathetic lens.

I’m a self-starter and a fast learner. I have worked across industries like Tech, Art Conservation, F&B and more. I enjoy facilitating workshops!

Welcome to a small corner on my site which is truly me :)

I’m a city girl throughout. I grew up in Mumbai, also called Bombay (in India), and now call Chicago my home.

I’m a daughter, sister, girlfriend, friend, granddaughter, artist, painter, gamer, nature-lover, weight-lifter, TV show-binger, Cocktail-maker, Baker, Board game-lover, Korean-food-lover, self-taught-cook, and more. (not in that order)

I enjoy hosting people for dinners and game nights.

I also love trying out different coffees in my city. So if you’re in Chicago, would like to try a new spot, and would like to talk all things design, hit me up :)
